Our Story

Meet our founder, Amanda. Born and raised in Arizona, she has always had a fascination for desert plants. Her interest in a non-toxic lifestyle started 10+ years ago when she became aware of the toxic chemicals that are added to our everyday products and how these chemicals adversely affect our health.

In 2018 she received a bachelor’s degree in Integrative Health and in 2019 she received a certificate in herbalism. She has over 5 years of experience learning and working with medicinal plants and making her own herbal products from scratch.

In 2023 she founded Ancestral Solskin to share her herbal products with the world. Inspired by the desert, our products are organic, wildcrafted, and handmade in small batches.
